Customer Quilt

First of all a big Thank you to Linda over at http://living4quilting.blogspot.com/ for helping me understand the whole picture posting thing.
This is a customer quilt I finished up last night. I did an all over meander on it using thread color Lemonade. It's much prettier in person.

This is the back of the quilt. That is the most beautiful fabric. You can't really see it in the picture but around the flowers is the pretties shiny gold outline.

And a close up of the back. This is a huge quilt 98X106 so it took me a good while to do it yesterday. I think the customer will be very happy with it. I know I wish it were mine.

Hopefully today I can pin on one of my quilt that I need to get done for a Christmas gift. Hubby is painting the living room today and going to start down the hall, he has already done the family room and his office area. It's a lot of work to paint when you have a bad back and 2 bad knees, so it is slow go for him but he is getting it done a little at a time. I will try and post pictures of what it looks like so far. I can't wait for it to be all done. I am tired of the mess everywhere. Next will be my pink room then our bedroom. Oh and the bathroom. It has apple tree wall paper. I didn't put it there, it was there when we rented the house and she didn't want us to change anything but now that we are buying we can cut down the apple trees. oh it's terrible and I've had to live with it like that for 5 years. Anyway enough babbling on. You all have a wonderful Sunday and be good.

  4. OMGoodness how absolutely beautiful is this...And to think you will have to part with it...Oh my, I couldn't. You are so talented. I'm so glad you were able to show this to us...I don't envy you doing all that painting, such a lot goes into it. But in the end, it will be all fresh and new. Congrats on buying the house. :)EllenL
